Just got back from a week in Cornwall, it is usually a toss up between Devon and Cornwall for me as an ideal place to dwell for a holiday, but Cornwall won out this year.
I love the South of England, I was in fact born in Devon…St Budeaux to be exact as my parents were both based in the Royal Navy there.
What do I love most about it? It INSPIRES me like no other place I have ever visited, and I honestly have seen some beautiful places, many of them in the in the Caribbean (my future Holiday Home location haha)
I get my best ideas and designs in my head once I am over that border, I find it so much easier to meditate when down there, I find myself instantly feeling…at home is the best way to describe it.
I swear my soul knows exactly where it was brought into being this time around and it wants to go home…eventually…if I can ever totally convince the beautiful being that is my husband that he could be happy there too 😉
So this time around I have about half a sketchbook of ideas in my head, none on actual paper yet though due to lack of time, but what designs! What ideas! What creativity!!
Shame I have customer orders on the books as soon as my butt hits the workshop again next week, but this year (when it comes to business I work on our financial year end of May 31st) I intend making time in there for myself, time to indulge my inner creative demon on projects to keep my soul content until I break that financial barrier and we can make the decision to relocate to a huge house with many out buildings and workshop space 😀 Saw one in the local property paper in fact last week, 4 workshops!! only a cool £385,000…no worries…I’m only 3 ‘0’s off that *chuckles*
